Beliefs
God
We believe in one true and eternal God who has made himself known to us through his word as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He exists forever as three distinct persons, yet he is one God.
The Father is our Creator, who upholds all things and is our God and Father for the sake of Christ.
The Son is our Redeemer, who has fully accomplished our salvation and brings us into the fellowship of God.
The Holy Spirit is our Sanctifier, who dwells in us, unites us to Christ, and assures us that we share in all His benefits.
From all eternity, the Father loves the Son, and the Son abides in the Father’s love, and this fellowship of love is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit, who searches the depths of God and makes us partakers of that same communion.
These three Persons are one in essence, eternal, and equal in power and glory, so that in knowing the Father through the Son, by the Holy Spirit, we come to know the one true God, who is our God forever.

The Bible
We believe that God has graciously made Himself known to us in His Word, speaking first through the prophets and finally through His Son, and causing this Word to be written for our instruction.
For this Holy Scripture did not come by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit; so that, while each wrote in his own manner, with his own gifts and style, it is nevertheless God Himself who speaks to us in the Scriptures.
Because this Word is breathed out by God, it is the only rule of faith and life, and therefore has full authority over the church and over our hearts.
In this Word, God reveals to us all that we need to know for our salvation, teaching us who He is, what He has done for us in Christ, and how we are to live before Him.
Therefore, we receive this Scripture not as the word of man, but as the very Word of God, trusting it wholly, submitting to it gladly, and finding in it our sure comfort and salvation.

The Fall
We believe that God created the world good, and made us in His image to know Him, love Him, and live with Him in blessedness, calling man to walk with Him in obedience and life.
Yet through the fall of our first parents, who did not remain in that obedience, sin entered the world, and human nature was corrupted. In Adam all of humanity fell, and are conceived with a sinful nature, inclined to all evil and unable to do any good apart from the grace of God.
And this corruption is not only inherited but also lived out by us daily; for we ourselves break God’s law, failing to love Him with all our heart and our neighbour as ourselves. Thus we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and so increase our guilt before Him.
Therefore, by nature, none is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. The whole creation is now subject to frustration and decay, groaning under the curse of sin and death.

The Gospel
We believe that God, in His great love, has not left us in our misery, but has promised from the beginning to restore what was lost through the fall.
He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, the second Adam, who took upon Himself our human nature and bore the guilt of our sin, that we might be forgiven and reconciled to God. By His cross He has satisfied God’s justice, and by His resurrection He has announced the conquering of sin and death.
Through His Spirit, He not only pardons us but also renews our hearts, so that we may begin to live again in love for God and our neighbour.
And as surely as He has come, so He will come again in glory, to remove the curse entirely and make all things new, so that we may dwell with God in everlasting righteousness and joy.

Our Confession
We are a Reformed Church that subscribes to the Three Forms of Unity—the Belgic Confession (1561), Heidelberg Catechism (1563), and Canons of Dort (1618-1619). These foundational documents define, instruct, and protect orthodox doctrine within the historical church and serve as our complete statement of faith.
